Gilbert Ray Brooks, 76, born February 20, 1945, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2021. Precious husband of Patricia Lykins; beloved brother of John (Sue) Brooks, and the late Pansy (Richard) Rehbein, and the late Carl Brooks; dearest uncle to Beth Rehbein, the late Christine Rolfe, the late Kathryn Bright, Sam (Joyce) Bright, Andy (Lori) Brooks, Lori (Achim) Klima, and Rebecca Brooks; Also Jill and Jim Gracia, Matt and Abby Stuebe, Nora and Mike Edens, Donna Berletich, Lisa and Ken Rathunde, Maureen Lykins, Zach (Michelle) Lykins, Rachael Lykins, Alex (Michael) Bradley. Loving brother-in-law to Peggy Stuebe, Lori (Peter) Berletich, Mary Ann (Ron) Zemla, Terry Lykins, John (Wendy) Lykins, and the late Michael (Kathy) Lykins; devoted uncle to many other great nieces and nephews. Gil had a commitment to excellence in everything that he undertook. He was a proud Veteran of our country, who served his time in the U.S. Army. Gil had a myriad of interests including being a Ham Radio operator, call sign N9WCR.
