Wesley A. Weis, 86, passed away on June 21, 2022. Loving husband of the late Joan (nee Kloor); beloved son of the late Wesley & Mildred Weis.

Survived by his sister, Nancy (Larry) Brichetto; Brother, George Weis (Wayne Zischke); Brother-in-law, William Kloor.

Wesley’s son, William S. Weis and his children Jennifer and Brian, William’s spouse, Anne Gibbs and her children Matthew and Christopher.

Wesley’s daughter, Gayl N. Meade (nee Weis) and her husband, Kevin Meade, and Madeline Meade, granddaughter.

Wesley’s son, John G. Weis.

Nieces, Laura, Teri, Becky & Nephew, Larry; plus, their spouses and children whom he was also very fond of.

Wesley was a pipe organ aficionado and would travel far distances just to see a grand example of such that would pique his interest. Architecture was another interest of Wesley’s, and he enjoyed educating people about Frank Lloyd Wright as a docent at the Frank Lloyd Wright Home in Oak Park, Illinois. Wesley would also take road trips to enjoy the majesty of the country ranging from the Washington Monument all the way to the Grand Canyon.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 27th at Olson Burke-Sullivan Funeral Home from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, with a Memorial Service at 12:00 pm; 6471 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago, IL. In Lieu of flowers, please donate to The American Cancer Society.
