Angela Donado (née Bustamante), 94, of Wheeling, IL, passed away on August 11, 2022 from respiratory complications.

Angela was born on October 2, 1927 to Maria and Felicito Bustamante in Barranquilla, Colombia S.A.

Angela was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Always at the ready to throw together a great meal. She absolutely loved having family and friends stop over for a visit.

Angela retired from Imperial Eastman Corporation so she could spend more time with her grandchildren who were her pride and joy. It also allowed her more time to spend with the love of her life (Franklin) who she was married to for 73 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maria and Felicito, a brother, Luis, a sister, Zoila Sandoval.

She is survived by three children, Amilio (Ana), Aixa (Dr Edward) Chen, Hugo (Penny), three brothers, Alejandro (Sonia), Felicito, Wilfredo, two sisters, Josefa Molenda, Antonia Bustamante, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A service will be held on October 2, 2022.

Angela will forever be loved and remembered for her kind heart, warm smile, comforting hugs and amazing meals.
