Anne Cimino Ahrens, Age:98

Ahrens, Anne, nee Cimino, of Algonquin, Illinois, passed away on September 5, 2022, at the age of 98.

Anne was born on September 27, 1923, to Santo Cimino & Mae Cimino (Ferrara) in Chicago, where she lived until moving to River Grove, Elmwood Park and Algonquin, where she enjoyed her retirement years.

She was the loving mother of Douglas and Janice (Edward) Kulik and cherished nana of Jennifer (Freddie) Sturgeon and Steven Kulik.

Anne worked in various office settings all her life, retiring at the age of 76.  She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family playing card games, board games, ping pong and bags.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Mary, Peter, Rome and Violet.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10am on Monday, September 19th, at

St. Celestine Catholic Church

3020 N 76th Court

Elmwood Park, IL 60707

Interment will be private with only a few close family members present.
