Katherine Grassl, Age:91

Katherine "Kay" Grassl nee Petrik. Beloved wife of Robert J. Grassl. Loving mother of Peter (Gretchen) Grassl and Matthew Grassl. Proud grandmother of Dylan Grassl. Family and friends will meet Sunday, August 5th at Edison Park Lutheran Church, 6626 N Oliphant, Chicago, IL 60631 for a memorial visitation from 3:00 – 5:00 followed by a service at 5:00 PM and continued celebration afterwards. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Norwood Crossing (http://www.norwoodcrossing.org/donate.php) or Edison Park Lutheran Church (http://www.edisonparklutheran.org/#/worship/give-or-pay-on-line) would be appreciated. Also - it’s August in Chicago.  Dress casual, be comfortable.

I am so very sorry to hear about your mother. I knew her from the Resurrection Fitness Center. She was such a sweet lady! We shared the same birthday so of course we never forgot to wish each other a happy birthday. It was always a pleasant surprise to see her at the fitness center because I knew she was having a good day. I will miss her!!
