Constance G. Miles, Age:77

Constance G. Miles, 76, passed away peacefully on June 22, surrounded by her daughters and granddaughter. She was a beloved and fun-loving Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Great-Aunt and Godmother.
Connie spent the first half of her life in Savanna, IL. She was crowned Savanna High School homecoming queen her senior year and graduated in 1959. After high school, she began working at The National Bank of Savanna, eventually becoming an officer and head of operations. After 25 years at the bank, Connie and her husband Ed retired to Cape Coral, FL where they enjoyed many happy years of golfing, travelling and entertaining friends and family. Connie moved back to Illinois in 2013 to be closer to her family. She was residing at Silverado Memory Care in Morton Grove when she passed away due to complications from corticobasal degeneration (a rare form of dementia).
Connie was preceded in death by her husband Ed Miles, parents Martin and Mary (Sullivan) Ginie and brother Kevin Ginie. She is survived by, and her smile and laugh will be heartily missed by, her daughters Terri Bimm (Mark Fellows) and Chris (Pat) Foltz, her grandchildren Jon and Alicia Foltz, her brothers Steve (Jeri) Ginie and Rick (Mary Ellen) Ginie and her nieces and nephews and their children.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Chris & Pat Foltz (813 Fiet Ave, Thomson, IL 61285) on Saturday, August 4th, from 3-7:00 pm. We would love to have you stop by and share your memories of Connie.
