John W. Johnson, Age:73

John W. Johnson, 73, U.S. Navy Veteran, he passed away suddenly.  Loving Husband of Alejandra (nee Garcia); Dear Father of Tammy Meilink; Caring Grandfather of Alexandria; Beloved Brother and Brother-in-Law of Diane Barfield and the late Patricio (Ofelia) Garcia; Fond Uncle to Lidia and Lyle Katzman and Patricia Garcia and their children.
Longtime employee of the City of Chicago and a Proud Member of Teamsters Local Union # 700.   
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 13th from 9:30 am until the time of service at 11:00 am with Deacon Joel Chrastka officiating at Olson Burke/Sullivan funeral and Cremation Center, 6471 N. Northwest Hwy.  Family and friends will meet at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery by 1:30 pm for his inurnment with Military Honors.
In Lieu of Flowers, Family requests donations to the American Lung Association.
