Bernice Fontanetta “Aunt Bea”

Bea started her career late in life as a receptionist at the John Hancock Building in downtown Chicago then she moved down the street to 444 S. Michigan Ave to the Ruder-Finn PR Firm. Bea was the quintessential live receptionist always greeting with her warm and cheery voice and occasionally appearing in a local evening news spot.

Bea was a loving mother of Joe (Jan), Rick (Karen) and Gary (Idalia) Fontanetta; proud grandmother of Katie, Joey, Nick (Becky), Matt (Angela), Giovanni and Gillian and dear great grandmother of Mason, Morgan, Liam and Elle.

Family and friends will meet Sunday, January 7th, at Olson Burke/Sullivan Funeral and Cremation Center, 6471 N Northwest Hwy, Chicago for a Memorial Visitation from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
