Jill Sharlee Swagler

Jill Sharlee Swagler, 80, passed away on November 26, 2023. Born and raised in Chicago, Jill ran her own interior painting and design business for several years.

Jill is survived by her loving sons Daniel (Madeline) Swagler, Shawn (Debra) Swagler, Jeff (Cindy) Swagler, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Dana, Danee, and Paige.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marion (Thorsen) Hassler, father, Charles Hassler, and brother, Scott (Bonnie) Hassler.

Jill’s family meant the world to her, and she was incredibly involved in all their lives, making it to every event, starting with the boys’ baseball, to all the grandchildren’s events. She had an incredible number of lifelong friends that she made along the way and stayed in touch with everyone. She was truly the life of the party, and we are blessed to have had so many incredible years with her, although it was not enough. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Memorial Visitation, Saturday, December 9th at Immaculate Conception (7211 Talcott Rd. Chicago, 60631) from 12:30-1:30PM. Mass to follow at 1:30pm. For more information, please call 773.774.3333
