My sister, Linda Widing, dated Pat for a couple years in the early '80s. She and Pat and Pat's wife, Linda Hayes all worked together at the phone company. They were all "phone company lifers". We met Pat several times and shared Christmas festivities with him at our family's Chicago home too. Loved his personality and quick wit. I uploaded a picture from one of our Christmases. He and my sister, Linda, are sitting together on a blue couch.
