Leticia Fink, Age:55

Leticia Fink (nee Torres), passed away after a valiant battle against cancer, with her husband, Andrew by her side.  
Leticia was born to Mario and Amalia Torres in Mexico, the second of their three children.  Her family came to the United States in 1986.  She worked and studied.  With her parents’ help, she graduated from the University of Illinois-Chicago with a degree in business in 1994.
In 1998, Leticia met the love of her life, Andrew, at the Chicago Church of Christ.  After two years of dating, they became engaged and married on July 29, 2000.  They began their married life on the northwest side.  In September 2008, they welcomed their daughter, Diana.  Five years later, Andrew would arrive to complete their family.
Leticia started with Smithereen Pest Management in 2001 and remained with the family run business until her passing.  Leticia was a detail orientated person in both business and her personal life.  She was a active person in many areas.  From her children’s school, Garvy School’s adopt a classroom, to her church, a discussion group for women dealing with health issues, to her own ‘backyard’, helping to organize the 5400 Nashville Block Party.  She helped teach Sunday School and was involved in the Church Ministry for many years.
Leticia is survived by her loving husband, Andrew J.; her cherished children, Diana and Andrew; faithful dog, Rusty; her caring father, Mario (late Amelia); her dear brothers, Mario (Edith) and Leo; and especially all those dear and caring friends who stood by her in her toughest times.
A Celebration of Leticia’s Life will be held at United Lutheran Church, located at 409 Greenfield Ave in Oak Park on Monday, April 10 with visitation beginning at 10:30 am until time of service at 11:30 am.  Formal services will be held at 11:30 am.  Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery.
Leticia was a warm hearted and caring person who will be missed by all who knew her.
