Victoria Samaan, Age:87

On February 19, 2023, Victoria Samaan, nee Meshki, passed away peacefully in Winfield, IL with family by her side.
 
Victoria was born in Bethlehem, Palestine on April 14, 1935 to Issa Meshki and Mariam Younan.  She was the devoted wife of the late Mousa H. Samaan and adoring mother of the late George M. (Mary Kay) Samaan, John M. Samaan, Rita M. (Duane) Cloud, Martha M. (Manuel) Ortega, Kathy M. Samaan, Daniel M. Samaan, Carmella M. (Israel) Vasquez, Nancy M. (Manuel) Samaan, Sally M. (Michael) Samaan, Jacqueline M. Samaan, and Christopher M. (Sarah) Samaan; loving grandmother to Daniel, Steven, Cynthia, Victoria, Joanna, George, Ariana, Audrey, and Asher; and affectionate great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin to many.
 
 
 
Family and friends will meet, Tuesday morning, Feb. 28, 2023 at St. Afrem Syriac Orthodox Church, at St John the Baptist Melkites Church, 200 E. North Ave. Northlake, IL for visitation from 10:00 am until time of mass at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery 2705 Thatcher Rd. River Grove, IL.
 
 
 
Kindly omit flowers, memorial donations may be made in care of Victoria’s granddaughter, Victoria Ortega. The donations will be donated to aid the victims of the recent earthquakes in Turkey, as Victoria's beloved parents were of the Suriyani Community from this region.
