Scott A. Thedford, Age:53

Scott Allen Thedford , age 53, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. He was born on April 14, 1969, to his parents Terrance and Carole Thedford. He was married to his wife, Melinda Maravilla, on February 16, 2014. He worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for 25-plus years were he was part of the United Transportation Union Local 171. Scott enjoyed the little things in life like chatting with friends and family, watching his favorite sports teams (Chicago Cubs and Chicago Blackhawks), gardening, and tending to his fish tank.  He loved the challenge of TV's Jeopardy and the daily paper crossword puzzle.

The family who still cherishes his memory include his wife, Melinda Thedford; Parents Terrance and Carole Thedford; Daughters Katie Springman (Todd Springman), Allie Thedford, Rania Ahmed, Dena Ahmed; Granddaughter Natalie Springman; Siblings: Christopher Thedford (Cheryl Thedford), Jennifer Cherry (David Cherry), Jacqueline Whalen (Ken Whalen), Grandmother Adele Thedford; Aunt Cindy Herula (Michael Ross); Cousins: Melissa and Tyler Herula; And many nieces and nephews.  It should be noted that Scott was an organ donor and his eyes/corneas have been donated to "Eversight" in the hope of providing eyesight to those in need.  

Family and friends are welcome to join Scott’s Celebration of life that will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 11:00 am-4:00 pm at Olson Burke-Sullivan Funeral & Cremation Center, 6467 N Northwest Hwy Chicago, IL 60631. There will be a short service starting at 3pm.
