Burns, Mary Elisabeth, nee Deegan, born on July 24, 1933 (forever 19 years old) is at rest February 18, 2021.Beloved wife of the late John Francis Burns, Sr. Loving mother of John (Julie) Burns, Patrick (Karen) Burns, Elizabeth (Randy) Marsh, Jeanne (Joseph) Fitzner, Cathleen Burns, and the late Michael Burns. Cherished grandmother of Michael (Aubrey) Fitzner, Breanna (Michael) Gaudio, Christine (Jeffrey) Malecek, Rebecca (fiancé Patrick Kent) Burns, James Burns, and Madison Burns. Proud great-grandmother of McKenna Malecek and Benjamin Gaudio. Dear sister of the late Lambert and Daniel Deegan.

A Visitation will be held at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 4646 N. Austin Ave., Chicago, IL, 60630, on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 9:00 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Interment at All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
