Roy Michael Maldonado, Age:64

Roy Michael Maldonado, Sr., 64, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Cecilia Irene Maldonado. Loving father of Roy Michael (Lucinda) Maldonado, Jr., Phillip Martin Maldonado, and Deliliah Lopez. Proud grandfather of Roy III, Cecilia, and Maya. Dear brother of Abel Maldonado, Leonarda Maldonado, and Fidel Maldonado. Fond uncle of Sandra, Susie, Adina, Abel Jr., Antonio, Alex, Anthony, and the late Fidel Jr., and Benji.


Roy was an avid reader and he was a talented artist who loved to draw, and would regularly share his artwork with family and friends. He was also known to have a fantastic sense of humor, and was always cracking jokes. He was a cherished and loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

We the Maldonado Family, would like to take this time and express our utmost, sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for all your prayers, floral arrangements, and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. May God Bless you all abundantly.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 1:00pm until time of Services at 3:30pm at Olson Burke/Sullivan Funeral and Cremation Center, 6471 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago, IL, 60631.
