Arlene J. "Sugar" Czuma, 74, passed peacefully with her family at her side on Friday September 23, 2022.

She is the loving mom of Kimberli Czuma, Charise (Justin) Naramore and Patrice (Ronnie) Steurer; cherished Nonna/Nana of Dravin, Braedon, Dylan, Colby, Sydney and Aubrey, loving sister of Tony Lynn Russo (Grillo). A dear aunt, cousin and friend of countless individuals. She was predeceased by her parents, and six other siblings.

Sugar was one of a kind; a creative mind who loved karaoke, crafting and was an amazing ceramic artist.
 

Her artistry carried over to her cooking. Her spaghetti sauce was out of this world and enjoyed by countless family and friends. She was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Sugar's wit and laugh made an impression on all who knew her and her stubbornness was legendary. She will be missed beyond measure.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 2, 2022 From 2pm-7pm at Olson Burke/Sullivan Funeral and Cremation Center 6471 N. Northwest Hwy. (one block north of Devon)Chicago, IL 60630. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7211 W. Talcott, Chicago IL 60631 for Mass on Monday, October 3 at 11:00 am. Interment will be private.
