Elinor M. Fitzsimmons, Age:74

Elinor M. Fitzsimmons passed away peacefully on August 7, 2020. Beloved Wife of the late John M. Fitzsimmons. Loving Mother of Pamela (George) Carlson and Debra (Shawn) Swagler. Cherished Grandmother of Paige, Angela, and Nicole. Proud aunt of many nieces and nephews, and a dear friend to all.

Elinor will be remembered as a bright, shining light in the lives of all those she met. Her kitchen table was the unofficial meeting place of friends and family, and all were welcome. She was an avid reader, but most of all, she cherished every moment she had with her family, especially all of the get-togethers and vacations. Elinor was loved deeply and will be missed dearly.

All services to be held privately by the family.

I drove by the house on Sayre today and saw the for sale sign. I just found out about my good friend John and now also about Ellie. These people were such a joy to me as I lived next to them for 40 years. We always did things for each other and I am crushed by both of them being gone.
