My condolences to the family. I worked w John when he worked at 219 S. Dearborn. He always had a dry sense of humor, a great story (his CPD stories were hilarious) to tell and great advice to give. And John always walked with a dapper step. Rest In Peace, John. Your shift is finally over.

John, I enjoyed working with you and I know others did as well. You were a friend, a confident and a steadfast supporter of me when WE had to navigate very choppy waters for reasons not of our making. You were a man of service and selflessness. You were a giver, not a taker. Thank you for believing in me, I will always believe in you. Fair winds and following seas, as Marines say. Friends for life.

I worked with John at U.S Marshals Service. What an incredible human being and always positive attitude. When John walked inside a room or even in passing...you would be greeted with a smile & joke( period) My favorite was when John entered a room full of people and would say” Nobody get up it’s just me guys” Lmao!!!. Thank you for the great moments my friend.

I enjoyed working with John at the U.S. Marshals Service. He had a great attitude and always knew how to make you laugh. If you were having a bad day, you could count on John to bring out a smile. John has truly had a positive impact in the lives of those he touched. May he rest in peace.
