Carol L. Teune, Age:60

Carol L. Teune, 60, passed away suddenly on saturday, August 10, 2019.  She was born on February 21, 1959, the second child of Albert and Marilyn (nee Weixel) Magee, in Oak Park, Illinois.  Carol met the love of her life and future husband, Gary, at work in 1978.  They married in 1982 and settled on Chicago's northwest side.  
Carol is the loving Mom of Gary John (Mariel), Joseph (Crystal) and loving step mother to Gary Jay.  She is the cherished Grandmother to Jonah, Lucas, Joseph, Jr., Thomas and Aubrey.  A caring sister to Catherine Guerrero, Patrice Magee Kaye, Albert "Tony" (Ramiza) Magee and Janette (John) Tomaselli.  A dear Aunt and friend to many.  
A Celebration of Carol's Life will be held at the Olson Burke/Sullivan Funeral and Cremation Center at 6471 N. Northwest Hwy. (one block north of Devon Ave.), Chicago, Il. 60631 on Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 10 am until time of service at 11:15 am.  Inurnment will be at Maryhill Cemetery.

Attended St Lucy in 60s Naperville , Illinois

I heard about Carol's passing from ST Lucy alum, Maureen McGrath, and I can still see Carol sitting in the back of those old classrooms in knee socks and the uniform dress that was the bane of the girls' existence (we only had to wear a blue shirt and clip-on tie). Carol had the sweetest smile and actually laughed at some of the boys' jokes. From her obit, she had a marvelous life. The lamp dims a bit without her, but her family seems a wonderful living tribute to her.
