John A. Lamantia, Age:62

John A. Lamantia, of Chicago, Illinois died suddenly April 22, 2019. He was a beloved son-in-law of Betty Bartell (Fred) and loving husband of Cynthia. He was a devoted father, and is survived by his four children - Caitlin, Antonio, Giana, and Briana. John was a much loved brother-in-law to Joseph (Kathi), Lynda (Bob), Janice (Kenneth), Cheryl, and Debra. He was a dear brother of Anthony (Carol), and a precious uncle to many nieces and nephews. John devoted much of his life to his city. He was a loyal member of Union 1001 and a a lifelong employee with Chicago's streets and sanitation department. John was loved by many, and will be deeply missed. Rest in peace. 

 

Memorial service Sunday May 5, 2019, 1-3PM.
