Walter Gunnar Lindberg, Age:76

Walter ‘Mickey” Lindberg, 76 years old. Beloved husband of the late Debbie Lindberg nee Powers. Loving father of Donald and Michael (Teresa) Lindberg. Proud Papa of Leslie, Amanda, Maggie, Kelli, Michael, Holly and Kalie and Papa of his puppies. Dear brother of John (Dale) and the late Joan (John) Caponigro. Fond uncle of John (Eva) Caponigro, Jill (Tim) Zornow and John Lindberg. Walter, also known as ‘Hot Dog’ to his work colleagues, retired from the CTA after 40 years as a switchman. Visitation Friday, November 9th at Olson Burke Sullivan Funeral and Cremation Center, 6471 N Northwest Hwy. Chicago from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a funeral service at 7:00 pm. Interment Private. So sorry to hear about Mick's passing. Mick was a great guy and fun to be around on the golf course and fishing trips. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time of sorrow.
