Jean Marie Sode, 81, passed away on January 22, 2018 at her home in Arlington Heights, IL.  Her loving husband, Don, her 6 children Jeff, Brian, Jim, Dana, John, Cari, and daughter-in-law Jenifer Sode surrounded her at the time of her passing.

Jean and Don were married on June 25, 1955 and were happily married for 62 years. She enjoyed gardening, watching sports and spending time with her family. Jean was loved by many people and will be missed, especially by her husband Don, her children; Jeff and wife Patti, grandchildren Jaime, Jill, Jennifer, Jeffrey, and Jianna; Brian and wife Susie, grandchildren Scott, Alyson, and Paige, Jim, Dana and husband Mitchell, grandchildren Daria, Devin and Max, John and wife Jenifer, grandchildren Eoin, Tague, Garrett, and Jeni, Cari grandchildren Kortney, Taylor, and Megan; her great-grandchildren Kylee, Maddie, Christopher, Braeden, Austin, Ethan, Dylan, and Colin, and her nieces Janet, Lynn, and Susan. 

A memorial mass will be held on March Saturday, March 3, 2018 at        at St Francis De Sales Church, 135 Bueshing Rd., Lake Zurich Il.  Following the mass, friends and family are asked to gather for a celebration of Jean's life at Giannis restaurant, 20505 Rand Rd., Kildeer, Il. from 12:30 to 4:00pm.
