Beloved husband to Janet (nee Toohey); loving father to Thomas (Judy), John (Polly), and Mary (George) Nieves; dear grandfather to Tommy, Matt, Cory, Brandon, Adam, and Noah; fond brother to Lorraine (the late Steve) Sikora; the late John (Jean), the late Dolores (the late Carlton) Lanier; uncle and cousin to many. Visitation Friday, December 29, 2017 from 3:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at Olson Burke/Sullivan Funeral & Cremation Center, 6471 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago, 60631. Funeral mass Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Hilary Catholic Church, 5600 N. Fairfield, Chicago, 60659. Hergenreder Family, Very sorry for your loss, can still picture your Dad sitting on a lawn chair, with a white T-shirt, drinking Old Style at the River Park picnic. He was always a nice guy! God Bless!
