Ernest “Ernie” Miller, WWII Veteran, age 93, passed away September 18, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Leona (nee Pierschbacher); loving dad to Laura (Peter) Morici and Nancy (Benjamin) Deahl; dear grandpa of Giovanni (Aly) Morici, Janet (Tony) Niedert, Sgt. Elizabeth Deahl, and Rachel Deahl; cherished great-grandpa to Vincent Anthony Niedert, Nash Arthur Niedert, and Luca Peter Morici; fond brother to Elizabeth (the late Richard) Jordan. Visitation Friday, September 29, 2017 from 3:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at Olson Burke/Sullivan Funeral & Cremation Center, 6471 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago, IL 60631. Funeral service Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated. Info: 773-774-3333
