Ken `Hollywood` Freer, Age:63

Ken “Hollywood” Freer, age 63, of Des Plaines, passed away July 2, 2016, at Rainbow Hospice Ark in Park Ridge. He was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad for 42 years as an engineer, a job he truly enjoyed. Beloved husband of Joanne nee Cinkues; loving brother of Richard Freer and David (Karen) Freer; dear brother-in-law of Edward (Ginna) Cinkues; adored uncle of Britnee, Danielle and Nappy; good friend of many.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, July 16th, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 p.m., at Olson Burke/Sullivan Funeral and Cremation Center, 6471 N. Northwest Highway in Chicago. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Anti-Cruelty Society (www.anticruelty.org) or Harmony House for Cats (www.hhforcats.org) or PAWS Chicago (www.pawschicago.org) or an animal shelter of your choice.
