Age 50 years old, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 16,2010, surrounded by loving family members after a six month battle with lung cancer. Cathy pushed herself to the very end to fight the cancer because she ha so much to live for. Immediate family members include her loving husband David Kramer, her loving children Megan, Hannah, Matthew and Molly Kramer, her father Don Connor, her sister Peg Hanson and her niece Bree, Beth Strand, her brother Tom Connor and the entire Kramer family. Cathy has many other family members, friends and a loving group of children that she shepherded at Holy Angels School for many years. Cathy was the sweetest, giving and greatest caregiver for her family and the children she watched over at Holy Angels. She will be greatly missed by all. There will be a mass to honor Cathy's life at 10:00 AM on June 22, 2010, at Holy Angels Church in Aurora. Donations in lieu of flowers will be accepted for the "Kramer Kids Education Fund." They may be sent to 91 North Rosedale Avenue, Aurora, IL 60506 Cathy asked that this fund be set up for her children who were the most important people in her life. She helped hundreds of children who attended Holy Angels School and wanted her children to finish their catholic education, which will include Holy Angels, Rosary High School and Marmion Academy. Cathy truly was a good shepherd for many young children at Holy Angels that were afraid, alone or frightened. They went to her and she would help them through their difficult times because of her loving and caring nature. Wherever we went, there were always children running over to her and hugging her for all that she had done for them. Cathy was an angel to many, especially her family and the children she watched over. There will be a memorial service held at Daleiden Mortuary at a later date.
