William K. Martin, age69 of Aurora, Illinois passed away Monday June 21, 2010 He was born March 11, 1941 in Elgin Illinois. He was the son of the late Kern B. Martin and Marie E. Martin. He is survived by his wife Janice A. Martin and brother Jim Martin of Aurora, Illinois; his niece Deanna Marie Martin of Santa Clara California, his hephews Jason Dean Martin and Jared James Martin of Redwood City California; his step daughter Tracy S. Luncioni of Batavia Illinois, step sons Brian D. VanOosten and Douglas D. VanOosten of Aurora, Illinois. Bill graduated from Elgin High School and he then joined the Marine Corps and was attached to the Marine Air Group 11 (MAG 11) in Atsugi Japan. He served for his country from 1961 to 1965. Bill worked for Kane County Concrete, Prairie Materials, Geneva Construction and retired as a member of Teamsters. Bill was a life time member of the Phoenix Club and St. George Citizen Club. Bill also was a past member of Marine Corps League, AMVETS, and Turner Club. Bill Loved the Chicago Cubs and was never to busy to give a helping hand. A memorial is planned at a later date.
