Donald N Shields, 85 years old, Navy Veteran of WWII;loving husband of Marie Shields (nee Siamis). Preceded in death by father, Thomas J Shields; mother Anna Shields (nee Pucci) and brother, Thomas Shields, Jr. Beloved father of Michael H. Shields; devoted brother of Gloria Malecek (Joseph); proud uncle of many nieces and nephews and had many many wonderful friends. Private cremation at the Cremation Society of Illinois. Memorial Sunday, October 19, 2010 from 2;00-5:00 p.m. at The Newark Senior Center, 11 W Front Street, Newark.
