Larry Frey age 65 of Norwood Park Township passed October 14, 2011. Beloved husband of Lorraine; loving father of James (Victoria) and Timothy; dear brother of Carol. Dog's best friend to Glenny; uncle and friend to many. Larry grew up in Bucktown with a passion for basketball and achieved recognition with Hall of Fame status at UIC. He used his passion for sports to fuel his teaching of physical education at Wayne Thomas Elementary from 1970-2003. He retired early at 57 and enjoyed the rest of his life walking his dog and fishing for perch, salmon and white bass. Larry's surprise birthday party last month, where over 150 friends and family came out to the bar to celebrate his life, left him with the warmest of hearts. There will be a mass in Larry's honor Saturday, October 29, 10 A.M. at St. Eugene, 7958 W. Foster Ave., Chicago followed by a lunch at White Eagle, 6839 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles.
