Andrew J. Adams, age 71, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2013. Loving husband to the late Joyce, nee Mallasch; loving father to Andrew, Alicia (Pat) Patterson, Adam (Nancy), Aron (Joy), and Joseph (Anne) Poland; proud grandfather to Lauren, Kyle, Jennifer, Jessica, Chase, Reese, Trace, Taylor Rosie, Nolan and Cooper; great-grandfather to Payton Patterson and Harland Boynton; loving brother to Susan (Guenter) Schmechel; fond uncle to Christie (Kristin) Schmechel; cousin to Sister Mary Bruce, James (Joanna) Wright and Jamie Wright. Memorial visitation Sunday, October 6, from 2 to 8 pm at Olson Burke/Sullivan Funeral & Cremation Center, 6467-77 N. Northwest Hwy (one block north of Devon), Chicago. Interment private.
