Dear brother of William (Barbara) Bourke, the late Margaret (the late William) McCarthy and Thomas (Sharon) Bourke. Special brother-in-law of Joan (Tom) Burke and the late Donald (Marion), Dorothy Jean (the late William), Edward (the late Karen) and Jim (Karen) Coan. Cousin, uncle and friend of many. Over 38 years of police service, including 24 years at Chicago International Airport and finally with the Cook County States Attorney Office. Member of the Illinois Police Association, inagural member of Emerald Society, Fraternal Order of Police and Officer Friendly. A lifelong Chicago and Fighting Illini sports fan.
