Jacob Michael Jerger passed away September 23, 2014. Loving husband of the late Betty Ann Jerger, (nee Stoesser); caring father of Joanne (Kurt) Rusch; devoted grandfather of Jacquelyn. Jacob was a drummer, composer, clinician and music teacher at New Trier, Evanston High School, Maine West, Oakton Community College and North Park College. Visitation Monday, September 29th, from 3 to 9 pm, and Tuesday, September 30th, from 11 am until the time of funeral service at noon, at Olson Burke/Sullivan Funeral & Cremation Center, 6467-77 N. Northwest Hwy (one block north of Devon), Chicago. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 would be appreciated.
