Our deepest condolences to Joy, Kalli, jake, Dee and the rest of the family. John always made everyone feel welcome and he will be missed. Words cannot express how you possibly are feeling but know that you are in our thought at this time. Lean on each other. It is family that will help get each of you through these coming days, No one can tell you it will get easier because it doesn't. Each of you have memories stored within you that will sometimes bring smiles and at other times tears but it is OK....LAUGH..CRY. these are our defenses to assist us in coping, John is watching over all of you.

My dear Joy . . I cannot believe that John is gone. He always had that wonderful dry sense of humor. One of the funniest things I remember him doing is putting his finger on the top of his head and mimicking curling hair around it and then putting a real hairclip on it and of course it fell. I have such wonderful memories of spending evenings as our three couples at either one's house . . . You and John, Diane and Tim and me and Jimmy. I cherish those times together. My prayers are with you and your family and John's family as well. Much love, Judi

Joy and families who I’ve known and loved for decades. I am so sorry I couldn’t be there. You all know how much Tim and I loved John. John had a way about him that he could always make you laugh and smile whenever we got together and he always made you feel special. I will cherish so many wonderful memories we shared together. My entire family is deeply saddened to hear about his passing. They will also have memories to treasure. I know no words can comfort you and the family during this difficult time, but I know Tim is in heaven welcoming John home. I know that puts a smile on my face. Love you dear friend.
